Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This policy explains how Datavision collects, uses and protects your personal data, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are (data controller)
Datavision is a trading name of Data Vision IT Consulting Limited, a company registered in Ireland and based in Ireland. For any privacy query, or to exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected].
What we collect
- Enquiry & contact data: the name, email, company, website and message you submit through our contact form or by emailing us.
- Audit engagement data: information you provide about your website and organisation so we can deliver an audit you've requested.
- Technical data: standard server logs and privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics. We do not build advertising profiles.
How we use your data
We use your data to respond to your enquiry, deliver the services you request, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it except with service providers who help us operate (e.g. email and hosting), under appropriate safeguards.
Lawful basis
We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and providing our services, on contract where we are delivering an engagement to you, and on consent where you have opted in (for example to receive updates). You may withdraw consent at any time.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected and to meet legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any right, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
International transfers
Where data is processed outside the EEA by our service providers, we ensure appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.
Cookies
See our Cookie Policy for details of the cookies we use.
